Thank you very much for letting me use my stage manager skills to assist you and make your tribal seminar run a little smoother and easier. I had a great time and did very well at vending.

I think the performances went well but my perfectionism has made me make notes on how I could improve for next year. I would feel it a privilege and would like to offer my services next year if you would like me to help. I would also appreciate input from you on what needs closer attention for next year. I felt all the performers were gracious and appreciated everyone's hard work.

I only heard good things about the venue (convention center) but I think the space was maxed out. A slightly larger space would be nice. I personally thought the stage in that room had a wonderful intimate feel. Thank you again and I can hardly wait for the video to come out so I can really see the performances. Please let me know when it is ready because I would like to buy one. Make it a dance, Lisa

I am also compelled to compliment you on your impeccable organizational skills. I have never been to a seminar where so much was going on in a smoothly managed, on time, flawlessly presented basis. I envy you your skills in making that happen.

We certainly look forward to attending you future Tribes workshops, they have been among our favorites. ...Maja, it is a wonderful event, you should be very proud. The work you do with your students results in some very awesome performances and some great dancers.

…….I attended the March workshop at the convention center in Florida and enjoyed an instructor by the name of Brianna, Zambra, and would like to know if she has a website for an instructor's video on the class she taught on Sunday. I would also like to order the performance video's from both nights. I am a teacher's aid with Somra , who is with the Oasis Dance Company.

……thank you so much for having us at your event! it was a real pleasure from beginning to end, and you can quote me on that. thank you for the praise for our musicians - we love them, and are always glad of a chance to share them with the world. i thought that everything at tribes went very well; we enjoyed the conference center, the 2-show format, most all of the classes and the flow of events.

my only other suggestions are small; perhaps invite some kind of food vendors to set up near the event to feed the folks without cars or taxi money.

……..as for teachers, i would love to take Domba's and Rachel's class again. i also loved Dandasha's performance piece? Nichole is also a good teacher in my experience. thanks again! Onca

……Okay, great thanks!! I enjoyed the weekend very much!!! I had so much fun and learned a lot. It was my first time and I plan to come back. I would like to mention that the travel was a little stressful due to it being Spring break. We got in a lot of traffic.

Next year, could the workshops be the first weekend in March or before and avoid the Spring Break crowd? Just a suggestion. Thanks!!! Can't wait to see the video. Avani BarakaMundi

………I just wanted to take a moment to thank you again for every courtesy you extended to me and my husband. We had such a wonderful time. So many students told me how much they loved my workshop and I am still receiving email from students telling me how much they enjoyed my class and performance. I simply wanted to share all my art like you asked.

There is no doubt why you were voted best promoter of the year. What a great job you did. So many times I watched as you patiently answered so many questions bombarded on you at once. You were so gracious in making the rounds to everyone just hours before the show on Friday. You had such a large group to direct, plus dance in the show, as well as making sure that the show went off without any glitches. Superb job! You are such an
amazing goddess.

Thank you for remembering me after all this time and including me in this year's Spirit of the Tribes.

……..I wanted to drop you a note to thank you for your hospitality and kindness at the Spirit of the Tribes. It was a very interesting festival and the participants were lovely. Everyone made me feel so welcome and I appreciate your attention to details. It might be nice if you found a better stage surface for dancing next year. I don't know how it was for others, but doing Tunisian on that floor proved very challenging. Other than that, your stage manager was fantastic and the whole festival ran beautifully!

Your Brazillian piece on Friday night was truly one of the highlights of the shows for me and I am eager to share it with my daughter.
